You may or may not know that I’m an artist, a painter, as well as a marketer. You may or may not like the art I create.  Of course, we can agree, art, as is beauty, forms it’s value in the eye of the beholder.

In the 1949, Congressman George A. Dondero denounced modern art as a communist plot.

blacklisted soon thereafter.

If you’re a business owner or marketer, then you market ideas
that some people are annoyed with or more likely, afraid of. And
in the face of fear, we lose honest expression and start calling
things names, usually names that don’t make a lot of sense.
Nowadays we still have modern day versions of communist plots,
we call them different things, there’s never a shortage of boogy
men available to point the finger at.

If you’re a marketer, then people you’re marketing to are
frightened about something.

What do they call it?  If you’re looking to make money online,
what are you afraid of?

I have a saying, “truth is a perception and control is an
illusion”.

Think about it, you or I could see something totally different
because we might have different vantage points. What do you call
the disagreement of perspective? There is a vast pool of
perspectives in the world and to each one of those individual
perspective’s, their truth is relevant and real to their
specific interest. Does the universal truth matter to everyone?
No, it does not matter, at least not in their minds eye. What
matters is, your truth, and the truth of the people who matter to
you.

I have made good money on the internet and I fail all the time. In fact, I fail more often than not. You’ll usually hear me say, ”learn to fail faster, the faster you fail, the sooner you’ll find your bulls-eye target for success.”

Finding out what does not work CAN help you find what does work.

The birth of the internet marketing GURU, the system, the way to create success is not an easy thing to put your finger on. Who do you listen to?

My dad likes to say, “even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then.” And it’s true. You shouldn’t pick your strategy by modeling someone else’s success. The success might have been strategic and planned, but it’s just as likely to be a matter of blind luck.

The same applies to the online marketing industry, even if there are some who try to make you think that that it is a piece of cake. And I’ll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.

Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that? What comes first? The Chicken or the Egg? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion - I have no clue and I don’t think many of us do either. One thing I do know for sure is that to be successful in making money online, you have to be passionate about the niche or product you wish to become involved with.

Passion in this sense simply means that you’ve researched and like the company and products or services. It is then that you translate that like (or Passion) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany Passion. I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore passion because they can sell anything.

To be successful, you need a well designed, well functioning website, advertisement and marketing, etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically. It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won’t attempt to do the work you are being taught.

Working on the Internet from home is normally not that difficult, but you must be motivated and have the drive to succeed. Internet Search Engines are excellent resources in searching for online opportunities in Internet Marketing and Business! The company you go with should have likability, relevance and you should have confidence in it. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. If you don’t find it move on,

You can find a great opportunity as outlined above. Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I’ll start that business - does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion.

Don’t be fooled by those Internet geniuses (you know, the ones who can sell anything) into thinking that you can be just like them, even if it is possible. It takes time and practice just like anything else. Indeed, it is your personal goal to get to where you also are able to sell almost anything online. The goal is clearly a worthy one. You must remember that there are guidelines that need to be followed to be successful, and having the passion to succeed will help you avoid skipping steps in the process of learning.

You must be focused on a company that shows promise, has believeability, and stay away from those you are not passionate about.

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.
