01About This Disclaimer
This Disclaimer is issued by Profit Worldwide, Inc., a Nevada corporation ("PWI," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates GilOrtega.net, the personal website of Gil Ortega, along with brands including Chief Rainmaker, XLR, TravelXLR, LinkedIn Recruiting Engine, OBEYY Protocol and Rick Bliss.
It applies to GilOrtega.net and to our related emails, email lists, social media posts, videos and linked content (the "Site"). By using the Site, you accept this Disclaimer.
02Personal Stories and Opinions
The Site is personal. Stories, essays, ramblings and opinions reflect Gil's own views and experiences at the time they were written. Memories are told as he remembers them, some details may be simplified, and views may change over time.
Opinions on the Site are Gil's alone. They do not necessarily represent the views of any company, partner, client or organization he is or has been involved with.
03Not Professional Advice
Content on the Site is general information and entertainment, not advice tailored to your situation. Gil and PWI are not lawyers, accountants, financial or investment advisors, tax preparers, travel agents or medical providers.
Get advice from qualified professionals before making legal, tax, financial, investment, health, travel-safety or other important decisions.
04Earnings and Results
We do not promise or guarantee that you will make any money, save any money, find any travel deal, build any business or achieve any other result by using the Site, joining our email lists, or buying anything we mention or link to.
Results depend on things only you control: your effort, skills, timing, budget, circumstances and execution, plus many factors outside anyone's control.
05Gil's Own Results and Ventures
Results described on the Site from Gil's own history, including companies scaled, revenue figures, exits, audiences, travels and other achievements, came from more than 30 years of experience, relationships, capital, teams, timing and circumstances that you may not have. They are not typical, and they do not predict what you will achieve.
References to past ventures, partners and projects are historical, offered to the best of Gil's records and recollection. Some of those businesses no longer operate, and mentioning them is not an offer or a projection.
06Travel Information
Travel stories, destinations, photos, tips and monetization ideas are general information based on Gil's personal experience. Prices, schedules, entry requirements, visa rules, safety conditions, health requirements and availability change often.
Always confirm details directly with airlines, hotels, tour operators and government sources before you book or travel. You travel at your own risk, and we are not responsible for third-party travel services or for anything that happens on your trip.
07Affiliate and Material Connection Disclosure
Affiliate Notice: I am often compensated for products I link to. It would be best if you assumed that any links leading you to products or services are affiliate links from which I will receive compensation.
This includes links to products, tools, books, programs and travel services, as well as to our own brands and businesses Gil owns or is involved in, such as Chief Rainmaker, XLR, O2S1 and Rick Bliss. Buying through these links does not cost you more. We share things we believe are worth a look, but you should always do your own evaluation.
08Testimonials and Recommendations
Testimonials and LinkedIn recommendations shown on the Site reflect the real experiences and opinions of the people who gave them. They describe particular situations, are not typical, and you should not expect the same results.
Recommendations shown through our LinkedIn widget were written by people who chose to post them on LinkedIn. We do not pay for positive reviews or recommendations. Some people featured may be past clients, partners, colleagues or friends.
09AI and Images
Some images and graphics on the Site may be created or edited with AI tools, and some of our products are built on third-party AI platforms such as Claude. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable, and you are responsible for reviewing anything an AI tool produces before relying on it. PWI is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or any other AI provider unless we say so.
10Third-Party Names and Links
Names of companies, brands, products, destinations and venues mentioned on the Site belong to their owners and are used for identification and reference. Mentioning them does not mean they endorse Gil or PWI. Linked sites, including our blog, book site, video hosts and other brand sites, are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
11Accuracy of Information
We work to keep the Site accurate, but we don't guarantee it is complete or current. Prices, offers, laws, platforms and travel conditions change, and older posts may not reflect the latest changes.
12No Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, as explained in our Terms of Use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PWI and Gil Ortega are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or reliance on anything in it.
